Zeron 100 Nut is manufactured from S32760 super duplex stainless steel, with sizes ranging from M5 to M100, and complies with ANSI, DIN, UNS, and ASTM standards. 1.1 Pitting Corrosion Resistance  
Zeron 100 Nut exhibits excellent pitting corrosion resistance in chloride environments, primarily due to its high chromium (Cr), molybdenum (Mo), and nitrogen (N) content. These elements work synergistically to form a dense passive film, effectively resisting chloride ion attack.  
 
Critical Pitting Temperature (CPT): The CPT of Zeron 100 Nut in a 3.5% NaCl solution is typically ≥ 45°C, significantly higher than that of conventional stainless steels (e.g., 316L with a CPT of approximately 25°C).  
 
Critical Pitting Temperature (CPT) in FeCl₃: In a 6% FeCl₃ solution, the CPT of Zeron 100 Nut exceeds 50°C, demonstrating its stability in high-temperature chloride environments.  
 
1.2 Crevice Corrosion Resistance  
Zeron 100 Nut also shows superior crevice corrosion resistance in chloride environments, with its high molybdenum and nitrogen content significantly enhancing its performance.  
 
Critical Crevice Corrosion Temperature (CCT): In a 6% FeCl₃ solution, the CCT of Zeron 100 Nut is typically ≥ 35°C, far exceeding that of conventional duplex stainless steels (e.g., 2205 with a CCT of approximately 25°C).  
 
Long-Term Exposure Test: After one year of exposure in seawater, Zeron 100 Nut showed no significant signs of crevice corrosion.  
 
2. Corrosion Resistance in Sulfide Environments 
2.1 Stress Corrosion Cracking (SCC) Resistance  
Zeron 100 Nut demonstrates excellent resistance to stress corrosion cracking in hydrogen sulfide (H₂S) environments, with its duplex structure and nickel content effectively inhibiting crack initiation and propagation.

2.2 Sulfide Corrosion Resistance

3. Corrosion Resistance in Acidic Environments 
3.1 Sulfuric Acid Resistance  
Zeron 100 Nut demonstrates excellent corrosion resistance in sulfuric acid environments, with its copper (Cu) content significantly enhancing its performance.  
 
Corrosion Rate: In a 10% H₂SO₄ solution, the corrosion rate of Zeron 100 Nut is ≤ 0.05 mm/year, much lower than that of conventional duplex stainless steels (e.g., 2205 with a corrosion rate of approximately 0.2 mm/year).  
 
High-Temperature Performance: In a 50% H₂SO₄ solution at 80°C, the corrosion rate of Zeron 100 Nut is ≤ 0.1 mm/year, indicating its stability in high-temperature acidic environments.  
 
3.2 Hydrochloric Acid Resistance  
Zeron 100 Nut also shows excellent corrosion resistance in hydrochloric acid environments, with its high nickel and molybdenum content effectively resisting chloride ion attack.
