This Inconel 600 High Strength Fastener is designed for extreme operating conditions, strictly follows ASME standards, and is available in sizes ranging from 5/16 to 4 inches in diameter and 30 to 1000 mm in length. Other special dimensions can be customized based on drawings. The material offers excellent corrosion resistance and high-temperature oxidation resistance, with an ultra-high strength of Grade 12.9. It maintains long-lasting high yield strength and reliable structural stability in harsh environments, making it an ideal choice for marine engineering, the chemical industry, nuclear industry, and other fields.

What is Inconel 600?
Inconel 600 (also known as UNS N06600) is a classic nickel-chromium-iron-based solid-solution strengthened alloy. Due to its excellent stability in high-temperature and corrosive environments, our Inconel 600 High Strength Fastener is made from this material.

1. Chemical Composition and Strengthening Principle
The performance of Inconel 600 comes from its well-designed material composition:
Nickel (≥72%): As the core element, it provides the alloy with excellent corrosion resistance in reducing environments and alkaline solutions, and is key to resisting chloride-induced stress corrosion cracking.

Chromium (14-17%): Forms a dense chromium oxide (Cr₂O₃) protective film at high temperatures, giving the alloy outstanding performance in oxidizing environments and effectively resisting high-temperature oxidation and carburization.

Iron (6-10%): Provides solid-solution strengthening while also improving the alloy's workability and cost-effectiveness.

2. Performance Overview
The Inconel 600 High Strength Fastener made from this material offers the following outstanding properties:
Corrosion Resistance: Performs well in both oxidizing and reducing media, especially adept at resisting chloride stress corrosion cracking. It also offers strong resistance to high-temperature pure water, strong alkalis, dry chlorine gas, and hydrogen chloride.

Excellent High-Temperature Strength: Maintains excellent creep rupture strength even above 700°C. It can be used continuously in air environments up to 1100°C while retaining oxidation resistance.
Good Workability: As a solid-solution strengthened alloy, it cannot be hardened by heat treatment, but its cold and hot workability and weldability are excellent, ensuring the forming quality of every Inconel 600 High Strength Fastener.

3. Application Fields
Leveraging its comprehensive performance, this Inconel 600 High Strength Fastener is widely used in:
Nuclear Industry: Nuclear reactor evaporators, control rod drive mechanisms.
Aerospace: Jet engine combustion chamber components, turbine parts.
Petrochemical Industry: Vinyl chloride monomer production equipment, catalytic regenerators, hot concentrated alkali evaporators.
Heat Treatment Industry: Furnace retorts, baskets, and fixtures for vacuum furnaces and carburizing/nitriding atmosphere furnaces.
