M3 Stainless Steel 316 Fastener conforms to DIN933 and is made of SS316 full-austenitic steel, offering resistance to acids, chlorides, and marine atmospheric corrosion. Size range: M3 × 6–40 mm, supplied in natural finish; no coating is required to maintain a bright appearance over time. Ideal for demanding applications such as food machinery, medical equipment, and yachts. Ample stock enables small-lot rapid delivery.

The quality-control measures for the entire manufacturing process of M3 Stainless Steel 316 Fastener are summarized in six stages—“raw material, forming, heat treatment, threading, surface finish, inspection”—with more than twenty critical control points, detailed as follows:
1. Raw material
• Spectral composition: Ni, Cr, Mo and other key elements are tested coil-by-coil according to ASTM/ISO requirements, accompanied by an EN 10204 3.1 certificate, ensuring every batch of M3 Stainless Steel 316 Fastener originates from qualified parent material.

• Wire surface: after pickling, visual inspection plus eddy-current testing ensure the material is free from cracks, laps, and oxide scale.

2. Cold-heading forming
• Die management: first and last pieces of each shift are dimensionally verified 100 %, with CPK ≥ 1.67 to guarantee head-to-shank consistency of M3 Stainless Steel 316 Fastener.

• In-line monitoring: press tonnage, speed, and temperature are recorded in real time; deviations trigger automatic shutdown to prevent non-conforming parts.

• Lubrication: phosphate–soap bath chemistry is analyzed every 2 h; free acid level and temperature are controlled in a closed loop to reduce forming defects in M3 Stainless Steel 316 Fastener.

3. Heat treatment
• Process window: solution treatment at 1050 °C ± 10 °C, with soaking time set by shank diameter, followed by water quench; hardness HV 10 ≤ 215, giving M3 Stainless Steel 316 Fastener optimal corrosion resistance and strength balance.
• Metallographic sampling: two pieces per furnace, grain size ≥ grade 5, no continuous carbide precipitation, ensuring qualified microstructure.
• Distortion control: long bolts are straightened on-line after heat treatment, achieving straightness ≤ 0.1 mm/m for smooth installation of M3 Stainless Steel 316 Fastener.

4. Threading
• Thread rolling: roll life managed at 50 000 pieces per change, with 100 % in-line go/no-go gauge inspection to secure 6g thread accuracy for M3 Stainless Steel 316 Fastener.

• Thread fatigue: when required, post-heat-treatment rolling increases fatigue resistance of M3 Stainless Steel 316 Fastener by more than 20 %.

5. Surface treatment
• Passivation: SS316 parts receive nitric–dichromate passivation, passing 1000 h salt-spray test without red rust, extending the marine service life of M3 Stainless Steel 316 Fastener.

• Coating: if electrolytic zinc plating is requested, a de-embrittlement bake at 200 °C for < 4 h is added to prevent hydrogen embrittlement of M3 Stainless Steel 316 Fastener.

6. Final inspection and traceability
• Full-dimension CMM: head diameter, shank length, and thread 6g accuracy are checked 100 %, ensuring every delivered M3 Stainless Steel 316 Fastener meets DIN933.

• Mechanical properties: tensile, wedge load, and proof load tests are batch-verified per ISO 3506 or ASTM F593, confirming compliance of M3 Stainless Steel 316 Fastener.
• Non-destructive testing: 10 % ultrasonic or magnetic-particle sampling, AQL 0.65, further reducing defect risk for M3 Stainless Steel 316 Fastener.

• Traceability system: laser-etched batch number plus QR code enable full traceability from raw material through shift, process, and inspection data for every M3 Stainless Steel 316 Fastener.

Through the above six-stage closed-loop quality control, the defect rate for M3 Stainless Steel 316 Fastener remains below 60 ppm, meeting the high-reliability demands of food, medical, and marine applications.
