With a product grade of Class A and an elongation rate of up to 35%, it exhibits excellent toughness and durability. Compliant with DIN and ANSI international standards, it offers outstanding high-temperature corrosion resistance, excellent stress corrosion resistance, and superior machinability. Designed specifically for nitric acid condensers, steam heating tubes, heating element tubes, and high-temperature environments up to 500°C, the Incoloy 800HT Nut maintains stable performance under harsh conditions, ensuring the reliability and safety of equipment connections. Whether in the chemical, energy, or high-temperature industrial sectors, the Incoloy 800HT Nut is a trusted fastener choice.

Incoloy 800HT is a nickel-iron-chromium alloy specifically designed for high-temperature applications, with its high-temperature performance primarily reflected in three aspects: high-temperature strength, oxidation resistance, and creep resistance.

1. High-Temperature Strength
The Incoloy 800HT Nut maintains excellent mechanical strength at high temperatures, thanks to its high nickel content and optimized chemical composition. Below are its typical mechanical properties at different temperatures:
Temperature (°C)Tensile Strength (MPa)Yield Strength (MPa)Elongation (%)
20≥450≥180≥30
500≥350≥150≥25
700≥250≥120≥20
800≥200≥100≥15

Features:
- At 800°C, the Incoloy 800HT Nut retains a tensile strength of over 200 MPa, significantly higher than that of ordinary stainless steel (e.g., 304 stainless steel shows a notable decline in strength at 700°C).
- Stable yield strength at high temperatures effectively resists deformation and stress relaxation.
- Elongation decreases slightly with increasing temperature but remains at a high level, indicating excellent ductility and toughness.

2. Oxidation Resistance
The Incoloy 800HT Nut exhibits superior oxidation resistance, making it suitable for long-term use in high-temperature oxidizing environments. Its oxidation resistance is primarily attributed to its high chromium content and the addition of aluminum and titanium, which form a dense oxide layer (mainly Cr₂O₃ and Al₂O₃) that effectively prevents further oxidation.

Key Data:
Oxidation Rate (in air at 800°C):
- 1000 hours oxidation weight gain: ≤0.1 mg/cm²
- 5000 hours oxidation weight gain: ≤0.5 mg/cm²

Oxide Layer Stability:
- After prolonged use at 800°C, the oxide layer remains intact without peeling or cracking.

Comparison:
- Compared to 304 stainless steel, the Incoloy 800HT Nut reduces the oxidation rate by approximately 50% at 800°C.
- In high-temperature steam environments, the Incoloy 800HT Nut significantly outperforms ordinary stainless steel and low-alloy steel in oxidation resistance.

3. Creep Resistance
The Incoloy 800HT Nut enhances creep resistance through the addition of titanium and aluminum, which optimize grain boundary strengthening. Its creep strength data are as follows:
Temperature (°C)Stress (MPa)Creep Rupture Time (h)
700100≥10,000
80050≥10,000

Features:
- At 700°C and 100 MPa stress, the creep rupture time exceeds 10,000 hours, demonstrating excellent creep resistance.
- At 800°C and 50 MPa stress, it still maintains a long creep life, making it suitable for components in long-term high-temperature service.

Comparison:
- Compared to Inconel 600, the Incoloy 800HT Nut improves creep strength by approximately 20% at 700°C.
- Its creep resistance is significantly superior to that of ordinary stainless steel, especially in high-temperature and high-pressure environments.

4. Typical Applications in High-Temperature Environments
The high-temperature performance of the Incoloy 800HT Nut makes it widely applicable in the following fields:
- Petrochemical Industry: Cracking furnaces, reforming furnaces, high-temperature reactors, etc.
- Nuclear Industry: Nuclear reactor pressure vessels, steam generators, and piping systems.
- Power Industry: Gas turbines, boilers, and high-temperature steam pipelines.
- Heat Treatment Equipment: High-temperature furnaces, heat treatment fixtures, and heat-resistant components.

With its exceptional high-temperature performance, the Incoloy 800HT Nut is an ideal material for high-temperature and high-pressure environments, meeting stringent engineering requirements.
