1. Strong Acid Environments 
The Hastelloy C-276 Screw exhibits excellent corrosion resistance in strong acid media, particularly in sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid, and phosphoric acid environments.  
 
Sulfuric Acid (H₂SO₄):  
In dilute sulfuric acid (concentration ≤10%) at room temperature to 40°C, the corrosion rate is below 0.1 mm/year.  
In concentrated sulfuric acid (98% concentration) at 93°C, the corrosion rate remains below 0.5 mm/year, far superior to ordinary stainless steel and most nickel-based alloys.  
 
Hydrochloric Acid (HCl):  
At room temperature, it shows good corrosion resistance to hydrochloric acid with a concentration ≤10%, with a corrosion rate below 0.1 mm/year.  

 
In high-temperature (e.g., 66°C) and high-concentration (e.g., 20%) hydrochloric acid, the corrosion rate increases significantly but still outperforms most other materials.  
 
Phosphoric Acid (H₃PO₄):  
In high-temperature (e.g., 93°C) and high-concentration (e.g., 85%) phosphoric acid, the corrosion rate is below 0.1 mm/year, making it suitable for phosphoric acid production equipment.  
 
2. Strong Alkali Environments

3. Chloride Environments

Chlorine Dioxide (ClO₂):

Nitric Acid (HNO₃):
