Xylan 1070 Coated Fasteners are high-performance fasteners designed to meet low-friction requirements. The production process of Xylan 1070 Coated Fasteners follows stringent craftsmanship standards to ensure that every product meets quality and performance criteria. Initially, ASTM A193 Gr.B8 Cl.2 stainless steel is selected for its excellent tensile strength, with a minimum yield strength generally exceeding 75,000 psi (517 MPa) and tensile strength reaching up to 100,000 psi (690 MPa), assuring the fasteners' high strength and durability under extreme conditions.
 
The manufacturing process begins with forging and cutting the stainless steel into the required fastener dimensions. Next, the threads are formed through die rolling. A heat treatment process follows, optimizing the material’s structure to enhance overall strength and corrosion resistance.
 
Subsequently, the surface pre-treatment stage employs acid pickling and sandblasting to remove any surface impurities, preparing for the coating procedure. After cleaning, advanced spraying equipment is used to apply the XYLAN 1070 coating evenly on the fastener surfaces. The coating thickness ranges from 0.5 to 1.5 mils (approximately 12.7 to 38µm), creating a protective layer with excellent wear resistance and corrosion resistance.
 
Finally, the coatings undergo curing at specific temperatures (350°F to 400°F, approximately 177°C to 204°C) to ensure stability and durability. Rigorous quality inspections guarantee that each Xylan 1070 Coated Fastener meets the ASME B18.31.2 standards, suitable for a variety of industrial applications.
