As a nickel-based alloy fastener, the BSW NA14 Fastener exhibits excellent corrosion resistance in acidic, alkaline, saline, and oxidizing media, primarily due to its high nickel (≥72%) and chromium (14-17%) content, as well as solid solution strengthening and grain boundary strengthening mechanisms.

1. Acid Corrosion Resistance
The BSW NA14 Fastener demonstrates outstanding corrosion resistance in various acidic media, particularly in reducing acids.
Sulfuric Acid (H₂SO₄):
- At room temperature in ≤10% dilute sulfuric acid, the corrosion rate is below 0.1 mm/year.
- At 80°C in ≤5% sulfuric acid, the corrosion rate is below 0.2 mm/year.

Hydrochloric Acid (HCl):
- At room temperature in ≤5% hydrochloric acid, the corrosion rate is below 0.15 mm/year.
- At 50°C in ≤1% hydrochloric acid, the corrosion rate is below 0.3 mm/year.

Nitric Acid (HNO₃):
- At room temperature in ≤50% nitric acid, the corrosion rate is below 0.05 mm/year.
- At 80°C in ≤20% nitric acid, the corrosion rate is below 0.1 mm/year.
The BSW NA14 Fastener, made from Inconel 600, is widely used in chemical equipment, pickling tanks, and reactors due to its corrosion resistance in acidic environments.

2. Alkali Corrosion Resistance
The BSW NA14 Fastener exhibits excellent corrosion resistance in alkaline media, particularly in high-temperature and high-concentration alkali solutions.

Sodium Hydroxide (NaOH):
- At room temperature in ≤50% sodium hydroxide, the corrosion rate is below 0.01 mm/year.
- At 100°C in ≤30% sodium hydroxide, the corrosion rate is below 0.05 mm/year.

Potassium Hydroxide (KOH):
- At room temperature in ≤40% potassium hydroxide, the corrosion rate is below 0.02 mm/year.
- At 80°C in ≤20% potassium hydroxide, the corrosion rate is below 0.1 mm/year.

The BSW NA14 Fastener is widely used in alkali evaporators, electrolytic cells, and alkali treatment equipment due to its corrosion resistance in alkaline environments.

3. Salt Corrosion Resistance
The BSW NA14 Fastener demonstrates excellent corrosion resistance in saline media, particularly in chloride environments.
Sodium Chloride (NaCl):
- At room temperature in ≤20% sodium chloride solution, the corrosion rate is below 0.05 mm/year.
- At 80°C in ≤10% sodium chloride solution, the corrosion rate is below 0.1 mm/year.

Ferric Chloride (FeCl₃):
- At room temperature in ≤10% ferric chloride solution, the corrosion rate is below 0.1 mm/year.
- At 50°C in ≤5% ferric chloride solution, the corrosion rate is below 0.2 mm/year.

The BSW NA14 Fastener is widely used in seawater treatment equipment, salt spray test chambers, and chemical pipelines due to its corrosion resistance in saline environments.

4. Oxidizing Media Corrosion Resistance
The BSW NA14 Fastener exhibits excellent corrosion resistance in oxidizing media, primarily due to the dense chromium oxide protective film formed by its high chromium content.
Nitric Acid (HNO₃):
- At room temperature in ≤50% nitric acid, the corrosion rate is below 0.05 mm/year.
- At 80°C in ≤20% nitric acid, the corrosion rate is below 0.1 mm/year.

Hydrogen Peroxide (H₂O₂):
- At room temperature in ≤30% hydrogen peroxide, the corrosion rate is below 0.02 mm/year.
- At 50°C in ≤10% hydrogen peroxide, the corrosion rate is below 0.05 mm/year.

The BSW NA14 Fastener is widely used in chemical oxidation equipment, bleaching devices, and wastewater treatment systems due to its corrosion resistance in oxidizing media.
