RF Block Flange
One-Minute Overview
- Forged stainless steel block flange that closes a 2 inch flange joint.
- Raised face, 150LB class, dimensioned to ANSI B16.5.
- Corrosion-resistant forged body for demanding plant environments.
- Serves as a permanent end cap or a temporary block.
The RF block flange, also called a raised face block flange, closes a 2 inch piping joint with a solid forged plate. Dimensioned to ANSI B16.5 in the 150LB class, it bolts onto standard weld neck, slip on and socket weld flanges of the same size and class. The raised face takes the usual 150LB gasket, and the forged stainless steel body resists corrosion in demanding environments.
Name: RF Block Flange
Size: 2"
Pressure: 150LB
Material: Stainless Steel (grade: 待补)
Flange Face: RF
Standard: ANSI B16.5
At 2 inch this blind is easy to place at the end of a small header, at a future branch point, or across a valve during maintenance so the section can be opened safely. ANSI B16.5 dimensions make integration into existing piping straightforward, and the forged body holds the class without fuss. Choose the gasket for the medium and tighten the studs evenly in a star pattern to the gasket guidance. Because the body is forged, it keeps its shape through repeated openings and can be refitted after each job.
