Oil Resistance C4430 Gasket is a high-oil-resistant non-metallic gasket based on Klingersil C-4430, aramid-fibre reinforced and nitrile-rubber bound. It complies with ASME B16.5 and, in the 4 Inch 150LB size, mates precisely with the flange. Each set is shipped complete with a G10 insulating sleeve and washer plus a ZPS steel washer, giving fast installation and reliable sealing. It is widely used in pipelines for petrochemicals, refineries and oil transportation wherever oil resistance, electrical insulation and protection against galvanic corrosion are required.

What different forms and sizes are available for Oil Resistance C4430 Gasket?
I. Forms – turning “sheet” into “parts”
1. Parent-material forms
- Flat sheet: most economical, can be cut on site; standard sizes 1.5 × 2 m, 1.5 × 4 m, 2 × 2 m—one sheet yields over a hundred small gaskets.
- Roll: 1.5 m wide, 10–20 m long, suited to automatic continuous punch lines.

2. Secondary-process forms
- Die-cut gaskets: tolerance ±0.2 mm, DN ≤ 600 finished in one press stroke, lowest cost in volume.
- Water-jet / laser gaskets: no tooling charge, ideal for large diameters ≥ DN 700, multi-hole or odd outlines.
- Insert-reinforced gaskets: C-4438 (wire-mesh insert) or C-4439 (expanded-metal insert) for Class ≥ 600 or ≥ 300 °C to prevent blow-out of Oil Resistance C4430 Gasket.
- Metal-composite gaskets: Oil Resistance C4430 Gasket as the facing layer combined with serrated, corrugated or metal-jacketed stainless-steel core for heat-exchangers, valve bonnets and other high-recovery applications.
- Insulating sets: gasket + G10/G11 insulating sleeve + phenolic / nylon insulating washer + galvanized steel outer washer, forming an “electrical isolation kit” to stop galvanic corrosion; commonly used on oil & gas skids, FPSOs and LNG pipe racks.

II. Sizes – full coverage from DN 15 to DN 4000
1. Standard bore ranges
- ASME B16.5: NPS ½″–24″ (DN 15–600)
- ASME B16.47 A/B: NPS 26″–60″ (DN 650–1500)
- EN 1092-1 / DIN: DN 10–4000

2. Stock thicknesses
- 0.5, 1.0, 1.5, 2.0, 3.0 mm kept in stock; 0.25–4 mm available on request. Thicker sheets give higher compression to suit uneven flanges; thinner sheets need lower seating stress and suit smooth flanges.

3. Inside / outside-diameter rules
- I.D. = pipe bore + 2–3 mm to keep the fluid from eroding the fibre of Oil Resistance C4430 Gasket.
- O.D. taken from standard facing dimensions: RF per B16.21, FF per gasket O.D. tables—no field measuring needed.

4. Shapes and multi-pass layouts
- Oval, square-hole, obround flanges, man-way/hand-hole and pump split faces can be water-jet cut from CAD in one step—no die required.
- Zone-drilled patterns: multi-pass heat-exchanger Oil Resistance C4430 Gasket cut in one shot, hole position accuracy ±0.1 mm, saving assembly time.

IV. Four-step quick selection
1. Identify flange standard and bore → locks O.D. and bolt circle.
2. From design pressure → pick thickness and insert from table above.
3. Medium contains oil, fuel or hydrocarbons → choose Oil Resistance C4430 Gasket straight away; if electrical isolation is also required → add insulating set.
4. Quantity ≥ 200 pcs → die most economical; < 50 pcs → water-jet cut; emergency repair → take 1.5 mm sheet from stock and cut on site.

By using the “form–size–pressure” logic and checking the data sheet, even a field engineer can create a part number for Oil Resistance C4430 Gasket in five minutes, e.g.:
“Oil Resistance C4430 Gasket-FF-4″-150LB-1.5-G10” means: Oil Resistance C4430 Gasket material, flat-face flange, DN 100-150LB, 1.5 mm thick, with G10 insulating set. Sending this string to the supplier brings back an immediate price and lead-time, eliminating repeated dimension checks.
