Klingersil Sheet Material C4430 Gasket is compressed from aramid-fibre-reinforced nitrile rubber, suits ASME B16.5 flanges, resists oil, steam and chemicals, gives ≥40 % compression-recovery and ≤0.1 ml/min leakage; delivered as a set with G10 insulating sleeves, insulating washers and ZPS metal spacers, it delivers both electrical isolation and sealing in one on-site operation—the reliable, energy-saving choice for refinery, chemical and FPSO flange joints.

1. Style A (basic)
Only the “metal strip + filler” winding body, no inner or outer ring. Thin and most sensitive in compression-recovery; mates exclusively with tongue-and-groove (TG) flanges, e.g. a 3.2 mm thick gasket in a 4 mm deep groove on a hydrogen-reactor man-way, located by the groove walls, rated 25 MPa / 550 °C—but the groove must be precision-machined or the gasket will extrude.

A 3 mm thick SS304 ring is added inside Style A for male-and-female (MFM) flanges. The ring blocks the annular space, stops solid hold-up and radial blow-by; typical service: FCC main-fractionator reflux line, 6 MPa / 380 °C hydrocarbon vapour. The ring also acts as a compression stop to prevent over-crushing of graphite filler.
A 3 mm thick SS304 ring is added inside Style A for male-and-female (MFM) flanges.
