Gylon 3500 Material Gasket is manufactured from modified high-performance PTFE, precision-molded to ASME B16.5. Temperature range –268 °C to +260 °C, pressure class 150 LB. The 3-inch size ships complete with G10 insulating sleeve & washer plus ZPS metal parts, forming an integrated electrical-insulation and sealing solution for extreme services such as LNG, chlor-alkali and semiconductors. Install once, zero leakage; maintenance costs drop 50 %.

What must we watch during transport and storage?
Six-step transport & storage protocol for Gylon 3500 Material Gasket insulating gaskets
1. Clean-and-dry first
Wipe each Gylon 3500 Material Gasket with lint-free paper and isopropanol, insert immediately into a 0.1 mm Mylar anti-static bag, add 5 g of molecular-sieve desiccant, heat-seal and vacuum-draw to –0.08 MPa, then affix an orange “PTFE product – avoid contamination” label.

2. Temperature window
Keep truck cabin / warehouse ≤35 °C at all times; stay ≥1 m away from steam lines or heat sources. For long summer hauls add thermal blankets plus phase-change ice packs to prevent local hot spots >40 °C that could cause cold-flow pre-deformation of Gylon 3500 Material Gasket.

3. Zero UV
Slip a black PE light-proof bag over the Mylar pouch, apply UV400 film to warehouse windows and fit fluorescent lamps with 405 nm filter shields to stop PTFE photo-degradation and micro-cracking, preserving surface integrity of Gylon 3000 Material Gasket.

4. Flat, stress-free stacking
Lay Gylon 3500 Material Gasket flat on 12 mm anti-static corrugated board; insert 3 mm polyurethane spacers every 50 pieces; stack height ≤400 mm. Never store upright or hung—self-weight could cause radial creep.

5. Transport restraint
Place EPE triangular supports in all four box corners; apply 20 N preload on the top pressure plate to stop gaskets from rubbing and dusting during braking. Mount a 2 g accelerometer in the vehicle; if >3 g is recorded, investigate immediately.

6. Shelf life
24 months from factory date. Every quarter sample one Gylon 3500 Material Gasket: tensile strength ≥21 MPa, dielectric strength ≥60 kV/mm. If either value drops >10 %, downgrade or scrap the entire lot.
